End of Summer Sailing and BBQ
SATURDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 12.30-16.30
Let’s Make Sailing Fun
- Everybody welcome. Sail with your friends or make new ones
- Club boats available dependent on age and experience. Optimist/Topper/Laser/Wayfarer*
- Topper Race ( if you want it )
- Sail with experienced members in their boats or sail your own
- Course will be laid for informal racing
- Safety boats will be manned
- 17.00 BBQ ( bring your own food )
- Tea and Coffee available from the galley
- Do you want these events to be a regular feature in 2011?
- If you do then show your parents how to use e-mail and let us know or register your support on the club web-site. We want your ideas, your likes and your dislikes

- Volunteers needed to rig and sail club boats and/or sail your own. Please contact me if you would like to help
- Please note that non-members must be signed in for Insurance purposes
*Grown up in long trousers on board to helm or supervise
All planned activities will be subject to prevailing weather conditions
Please bring suitable wet weather gear. Some lifejackets are available

I am sure some of you will have seen this before but its worth a look, you can rewind, pause and slowdown the incidents (unlike the real thing) and each decision is explained with references to the rule.
